LILLITH

Lillith
The ancient mystical being Lillith only existed based on the assumptions of many who just raise controversies from a scriptural character. The question to ask is does this assumed creature actually exist? Did it ever exist? Where and how did it exist if it ever did?

This creature was assumed to have been the first wife of Adam, based on the two account of the creation of man recorded in the first and second chapter of Genesis. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27. KJV

And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof. And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman and brought her unto man. And Adam said, this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called a woman because she was taken out of man. Genesis 2:21-23.

From the above passage, it is made clear that Adam never had any wife except Eve the woman who was created out of his ribs. The two accounts simply set clarity as to how man was formed. The first account simply tells us about God creating man, without any details as to how man was formed. Every other verse of creation before that tells how God formed the earth by simply speaking the word. But when it got to man it simply said God created man in his own image. In the second account, however, details was given as to how man was formed and how he became a living soul. God formed him from the dust and breathed into his nostrils. So man became a living being. Then it went on to tell us of how the woman came into the scene. The only and first woman that ever existed at creation was Eve. So any other woman that existed was only an assumption or an attempt to gender controversies.

The quest of man to question the idea of creation is the reason that such thought as Lillith came up as a creature created by God from creation to be equal with the first man Adam. And the only proof to back this up is a scriptural verse gotten from the 34th chapter of the book of Isaiah in the 14th verse it stated thus. Wildcats and hyenas will hunt together, demons and devils dance through the night. The night-demon Lillith, evil and rapacious, will establish permanent quarters. Isaiah 34:14. Msg.
From this passage, we get to understand that the name Lillith is only a name given to a particular demon, and not a creature that ever was attached with the first man Adam. If you check other translations of the bible you will realize that some never even bothered to make mention of the demon because of its irrelevance.

Some feminist has accented that it was because Lillith refused to bow to the headship of Adam was the reason for their separation. Some legends about this myrrh said she was wicked and full of evil and that she even committed adultery with the devil. But the facts remain that this insinuation has no biblical proofs.

The bible said all things that God created was good. Why would a good create a demon to be a help meet for a man whom he takes his time to form in his own image.
